Ms. Khor now heads the Corporate Department and ASEAN & China Desk of Yeoh Mazlina & Partners, Head Office; and also supervise the Penang branch.

Graduated from the University of Malaya, Ms. Khor was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2007. Subsequently in 2009, she completed her Masters in Law (Corporate & Financial Services Law) at the National University of Singapore.

See Lin has also obtained the Associate Qualification in Islamic Finance, a certification program accorded Full Accreditation by the Finance Accreditation Agency (FAA). With this qualification, she is able to advice client on banking finance from the Islamic law aspects.

Her main experience includes advising on various corporate and commercial transactions including reviewing, drafting and negotiating the various type of agreements such as sale and purchase agreements, lease agreements, tenancy agreements, heads of agreement, joint venture agreements, shareholders agreements, business sale and purchase agreements, distribution agreements, licensing agreement, merchandise agreements, advisory work on numerous issues in the context of Malaysia law and so on, for local or foreigner clients. She is also the external counsel on retainer basis by many companies.

Notable Experiences:

  • Prepared, drafted and advised funding agreements for National Film Development Corporation Malaysia in respect of creative industries funds granted.
  • Acting for a Malaysia public listed company in its disposal of shares in a Chinese company for RMB5 million.
  • Attending to, drafting and advising for client on related agreements in respect of a road construction and tunnel project awarded by state government worth RM6 billion.
  • Legal counsel for a Malaysia company proposed undertaking to establish a digital asset exchange in Malaysia as well as for their master development project in Laos.
  • •Conducted legal due diligence on a group of companies in Malaysia in the property development industry in respect of its private placement on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange.
  • Conducted legal due diligence on a Malaysian shipping company and its group of companies in respect of a merger acquisition exercise.
  • Engaged as part of a legal team with Singapore legal counsel in respect of a legal due diligence conducted on a group of companies in Malaysia in a proposed acquisition.
  • Engaged as part of a legal team with Hong Kong legal counsel in respect of a legal due diligence on a Malaysian manufacturing company in respect of a 100% acquisition by a PRC company for USD24 million, and further for the PRC company’s IPO listing.
  • Engaged as part of a legal team with PRC legal counsel in respect of a legal due diligence conducted on a Malaysia software development company in respect of an IPO listing of a PRC company.
 
Ms. Khor is currently the secretary for the Malaysia Laos Business Council Organization.
